Title:  Production and Inventory Control

We are looking to hire for Production and Inventory Control for our new Calvert, AL location.  This person will Receive incoming shipments, inspect, store in a timely manner, issue parts and specialty hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, inspect, store incoming parts, tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory
• Frequently prepare inventory records and reports and investigate discrepancies
• Update and maintain electronic inventory records
• Prepare reports and recommend options for defective or unusable items
• May operate forklift, overhead crane, jib crane, straps and rigging for lifting, pallet truck and banding tool, as necessary
• Maintain, clean, and organize warehouse daily
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s direction.

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years of related experience in Warehouse Inventory
• Some SAP experience helpful 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required
• Crane/Forklift.  In house training provided to obtain certification
• Must have good verbal communication skills
• Some OT and weekend work may be required
