Primetals Technologies a Group of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, worldwide leading engineering, plant-building and lifecycle partner for the metals industry is looking for specialists for a position:

MES System Developer/Consultant

This position offers opportunity to travel around the world while working on project commissionings in steel plants of our customers.

We work as developers, consultants and integrators of PSImetals system – a MES (Manufacturing Execution System also referred to as Production Management System) class software dedicated for steel industry. As much as we appreciate experience in that field, you are also welcomed to gain it on our team – we are open also for ambitious juniors. When we are not working in the office, we test and run the system in real industrial plants. You will become a member of our commissioning team and take active part in literally bringing the software to live!

Main responsibilities:

•    Configuration, development and commissioning of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/PMS)
•    Customer’s requirements analysis and solutions design
•    Implementing new functionalities extending MES standard
•    Maintaining customer contacts providing technical support

We require:

•    Higher technical, logistics or production management education
•    Experience in MES systems development or commissioning (Warehouse Management, Logistics, Production or Quality Management) – Mid and Senior position
•    Experience in steel or other heavy industry – Mid and Senior position
•    Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle with PL/SQL)
•    Analytical thinking and creativity
•    Ability to work in an international team
•    Good knowledge of MS Office and Windows
•    Good English
•    Availability for international delegations (up to 20% a year)

Nice to have:    

 
•    Experience with PSImetals system
•    Python programming skills
•    Knowledge of XML, TCP-IP and WebService standards
•    Experience in reporting (Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports or other)
