Programming Automation Engineer PLC

What you will do:

• Development of the PLC software based on process documentation (P&I diagram, functional description, etc.)
• Preparation of the technical documentation of the project (automation systems) using MsOffice tools (Word, Excel)
• Commissioning of the automation system on the customer site (worldwide)

What you bring:

• Higher technical education, preferably automation, robotics, drive technology
• Automation experience of one of the following areas: iron making plants, electric arc furnace, ladle furnace, water treatment plant, material handling systems.
• Programming skills, configuration of the PLC based systems (preferred Siemens)
• Ability to analyze and read electrical drawings
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, EthernetIP)
• Good knowledge of English language
• Availability for frequent worldwide trips

Nice to have:    

• Experience of commissioning of automation system
• Experience in working in an international team
• Ability to communicate in other languages, especially German
• Knowledge of the PCS7 system and APL library
• Knowledge of visualization systems (preferred Siemens WinCC)
