We are looking to hire an Accountant at our Axis, Alabama facility.  This position will report to the Accounting Manager.  

Responsibilities:

• New job setup in SAP and job folder setup
• Assisting with Accounts Payable in SAP
• Administer contract billing in SAP
• Assist in the month-end close process
• Assist the Accounting Manager in creating timely and accurate financial statements
• Understand job costing reports from SAP
• UKG(Kronos) Bi-Weekly Hourly Timesheet Review
• Other administrative and accounting projects, as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Familiar with Accounting processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Up to 2 years of financial experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work on many different projects at one time.
• Excellent Microsoft Office experience
• SAP, preferred
