We are looking for a CNC Programmer at our New London, OH facility.  This position will require working with complex models, engineering drawings and technical data to determine, and document and create optimal CNC programs and documentation given existing equipment and capabilities.  Experience and skill level will determine classification and pay rate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable and able to use effectively advanced NC Programming support software such as NC verification and Tool Management Systems
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of internal and external customers.
• Able to cover aspects of CNC programming, Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineer.    
• Works alongside experienced Industrial / Manufacturing Engineers to generating CNC programs for 3, 4 & 5 axis Vertical and Horizontal Milling Machinery.
• Sets up and operates CNC Machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and/or plastic parts
• Makes adjustments and monitors malfunctions of the CNC Machines.
• Analyze current manufacturing routings, work holding and NC programs and seek to apply newer more efficient technologies.
• Make recommendations to designers and engineers for product design enhancements and manufacturability.
• Develop clear, accurate part manufacturing documentation for shop personal.
• Support with new machinery purchasing and integration
• Training and assist of CNC Machinists, as required
• Travel is limited but required for trainings and offsite factory visits.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:

• Education: Minimum 5 years CAD/CAM multi-axis programming experience with 5-10 years of hands on 2D and 3D CNC Programming.
• Experience with set up and operation of CNC machinery.
• In-depth knowledge of Materials and Cutting Tools
• Must understand and be able to work in both Imperial and Metric systems.
• Machinist background of large components, a plus
