We have an immediate opening for a Lead, Financial Planning & Business Operations Analysis in the Aftermarket Business Development, Planning & Strategy organization within MHI RJ Aviation. As the selected candidate, your mandate will be to support the growth of our Aftermarket Services Revenue through the execution of our Business Plan and development of investments and improvement opportunities. The position will be based at our offices in Boisbriand, Quebec and may have some travel requirements in order to support business opportunities.
Reporting to the Head of Aftermarket Business Development, responsibilities of this position include:
- Be responsible to lead integration of the Aftermarket P/L Financial Performance
- Define, develop and implement business planning processes
- Lead development, modeling and approval of investments business cases
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods
- Determine and execute key financial business initiatives that will drive business operations
- Assist management in operations, resource mgmt, budget analysis, etc…
- Assist in preparing strategic plan by analyzing trends and forecast
- Review and analyze P&L’s performance
- Be responsible for Preparing monthly analysis on key financial metrics
- Participate and develop Financial Performance process improvement activities
- Coordinate & perform budget/forecast and preparation of cause of change explanations
- Develop and lead Aftermarket Financial Governance process
- Work with internal stakeholders to validate financial strategic objectives on aftermarket services, aligned with the strategic priorities for Aftermarket
- Work closely with all P/Ls
- Lead preparation of financial update and business case presentations for Senior Mgmt & Executives
Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Engineering discipline
- Confident speaker with strong presentation skills and sound analytical expertise
- Understanding of the Aviation and Aftermarket business is an asset (MRO, CRO, Training, etc.)
- Good general understanding of Customer Services in the Aviation industry
- Ability to synthesize Financial and Business Operations assessment into useful internal management and Customer information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent facilitation skills, comfortable working with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Superior and mature ability to influence others in meeting their deliverables
- Self-starter and team player, possessing strong organizational skills.

- You are ideally bilingual, able to communicate in English and French
