BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGY MANAGER
Roles and Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of team work, compliance and continual improvement.
- Adhere to the Company's objectives, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental and Information Security
- Ensure compliance with departments standard operating procedures
- Works “hand in hand” with CSB and NUB sales managers, along with salespeople, to develop go to market strategies on services and products.
- Cooperates with CSB business line managers to align on key metrics & KPIs of the company.
- Listens to VOC and engages internal parties to drive businesses to improve customer satisfaction
- Fosters, promotes and facilitates CSB and NUB collaboration/cross-selling
- Supports negotiations with clients, partners, and consultants
- Searches for new opportunities with existing and new clients
- Facilitates and develops schedules, meetings, documentation for certain opportunities
- Plans, manages, coordinates, strengthens and institutionalizes business development operations
- Leads, promotes and provides quality control oversight in all business development functions and operations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies which increase MCO-I’s sales potential.
- Sponsors and suggests specific high level customer relationships
- Serves as advisor to sales on bid strategy
- Collaborates with executives and colleagues to develop new products and services
- Suggests Partnerships external to MHI, but also internal
- Represents the company at legislative and formal functions, shows, and conferences
- Mentors marketing team when/if applicable
- Cooperates closely with the home office and foreign entities
- Works flexible hours
- Regular travel
Requirements
- 5-+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related area required

- Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly dedicated, self-motivated personality; enjoys ability to adapt to different tasks with ease and tenacity (self-starter)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Travel percentage 30% to 60%
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit and work in front of a computer for majority of the day.
- Minor lifting of files and/or boxes < 5 lbs.
