Job Description: 

SUMMARY 

Partner with senior management to deliver Human Resources solutions that help drive the business and culture, creating and updating policies and procedures, developing and implementing programs and solutions to a main business objective; developing and managing cost effective recruiting; and provide high level consultation to management team on employment and labor laws, policy interpretation and application. Work closely with management to promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive employee relations with the company’s business objectives. 

   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Planning and development of the organizational structure (organization chart and HC). Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs. 
  • Lead salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization. 
  • Planning and administer the benefits programs in the company and start programs to include other new benefits that allow our company to be competitive in the recruiting market. 
  • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. 
  • Define and promote the company's Organizational Culture and Values. 
  • Prepare and control the budget for the HR area (Annual budget, payroll, events, training, etc.). 
  • Lead the process for recruiting, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions. 
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Supervise the payroll activities of the company. 
  • Lead the operation of REPSE process for MPW-MEX, supervising the activities and interactions between the areas involved in the opera on of the REPSE. Responsible for calling Finance and Legal for the renewal of registration every 3 years. 
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are complying. 
  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization. 
  • Keep participation records of benefit plans, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. 

Mexico  

  

  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment and other Code of Conduct compliance. 
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. 
  • Lead the process of employee separation, including management of related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. 
  • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. 
  • Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as specialized services, transportation, or relocation service. 
  • Interface with company external legal consultants in regard to HR matters. 
  • Supervise the support that is provided to rotational Expat personnel in regards transferences, relocation, payroll, benefits, taxes, etc. 
  • Responsible of the Official Communications to the company regarding organizational and HR matters.

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or at least six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English-Spanish. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in both languages.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in both languages.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in both languages. 
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. 
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
  • Computer Skills: Payroll So ware, HR related so ware, and basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
