Join Our Team as a Technical Lead – APM Systems

CMSI is searching for a forward-thinking, technically savvy Technical Advisor who will be instrumental in supporting our cutting-edge Automated People Mover (APM) systems and subsystems. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of developing solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and providing strategic leadership in coordination with our global engineering partners. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the go-to expert for all technical matters across CMSI’s APM Operations & Maintenance (O&M) sites. 

  • Conduct in-depth failure analyses, identify trends, and implement proactive repair/recovery plans. 

  • Collaborate directly with MHI Engineering teams to align documentation, drawings, and updates across systems. 

  • Own the technical communication bridge between CMSI and partners such as MHI Eng., MHI-TC, and MHIA. 

  • Lead technical training programs and ensure alignment with evolving procedures and technologies. 

  • Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), O&M manuals, and other critical technical documentation. 

  • Oversee heavy maintenance tasks – ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance. 

  • Manage spare parts procurement, availability, and cost-efficiency. 

  • Be hands-on with CMSI IT equipment and support digital maintenance systems. 

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience working in transportation or APM systems is highly preferred. 

  • A deep understanding of electromechanical systems, precision measuring tools, and technical drawings. 

  • Proven project management and quality assurance experience. 

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset. 

  • Willingness and ability to travel and obtain airport security clearance. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
