Purpose of the job:

The Project Engineer P2X is expected to support the Decarbonisation business in EMEA region.  This includes but is not limited to, collecting, documenting, and analyzing data, preparing technical evaluations, engineering documents and deliverables, communicating with partners to lead support meetings/discussions, and working as part of the project development and technology scouting staff to secure new business and develop projects.

 

For this challenging mission we are looking forward to expanding our team with a Project Engineer P2X. 

 

Key tasks:

For project development:

 

  • You will participate in the creation of project concepts where synthesis of ammonia / methanol / synfuels from green H2 or cracking of Ammonia into H2 are a key equipment components.
  • You will support the maturing of the technical concepts as projects evolve by contributing with your knowledge to different deliverables withing feasibility, conceptual engineering, and basic engineering phases (Front-End Loading 1-3), as such:

 

    • You will be key focal point within the project team for engineering contractors related to ammonia/methanol/synfuels synthesis and Ammonia cracking
    • You will enable the tendering process to select solutions for synthesis of ammonia/methanol/synfuels or Ammonia cracking for our projects by being responsible for technical evaluations
    • After selection, you will remain to be the main counterpart to technology suppliers and licensors through all project phases, including execution phases (Quality assurance).
    • You will support Hazid Identification Study (HAZID)
    • You will support Hazard & Operability Study (HAZOP) review
    • You will participate in technical discussions and meetings with customers and partners

 

For technology scouting (desirable):

  • You will support our technology scouting teams by providing your expertise in synthesis of ammonia / methanol / synfuels from green H2 or cracking of Ammonia into H2 to identify breakthrough technologies
  • You will attend conferences, and prepare technical presentations

  • Ability to motivate, and manage yourself proactively, managing workload and decision making through contact with appropriate team members when required.
  • You are fluent in Business English

 

Experience:

  • You have a MSc in engineering such as process technology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • You have 5 years’ experience working in process or power industry projects as project or discipline engineer
  • You have 3 years’ experience working and understanding synthesis, cracking or related chemical process technologies (incl. Feasibility Study, concept engineering and FEED)

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (hybrid model)
