Summary
Responsible for securing profitable orders. Builds long term client relationships. Pursues sales opportunities for new equipment, promotes and qualifies MCO-I’s entire product/service offering. Manages and mentors the bid team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of team work, compliance and continual improvement.
- Adhere to the Company's objectives, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental and Information Security
- Ensure compliance with departments standard operating procedures
- Secures Orders and ensures clear understanding in project risk and required gross margins
- Secures and grows the number of loyal customers
- Understands in detail customers, markets and competition
- Understands and presents MCO-I product & service offering
- Effectively communicates MCO-I added value to the customer
- Leads bid team from receipt of RFQ to the issuance of Purchase Order
- Works closely with the Proposal Manager
- Suggests bid strategy and communicates effectively to the bid team (MCO Sales & Marketing, Application Engineering, Contract & Commercial Manager and the Proposal Manager)
- Attends and supports the business’s successful participation in trade shows
- Recommending pricing levels to secure project
- Responsible for communicating and reviewing commercial (and technical) risks with management for approval
- Coordinates technical and Commercial clarifications during bidding stage: internally and externally
- Responsible for reviewing Purchase Order together with the Contract and Commercial Manager
- Ensures bid accuracy prior to submittal
- Other Duties as assigned
- Enforces and complies with corporate guidelines
- Works flexible hours
- Regular travel
- In case of order, hands over project to the Project Manager
- Supports the Project manager (Engineering) in the project execution
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
- 5-+ years of experience in Sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related area required

- Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly dedicated, self-motivated personality; enjoys ability to adapt to different tasks with ease and tenacity (self-starter)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Travel percentage 30% to 60%
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit and work in front of a computer for majority of the day.
- Minor lifting of files and/or boxes < 5 lbs.
