SCOPE:

 

Through the years and continuing through today, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Corrugating Machinery Division (CMD) serves the growing, dynamic packaging industry with leading edge equipment systems, sales, parts, technical and field support, making it one of the most respected suppliers to converters in North and Central America.  

 

The Customer Service Coordinator (CSC) plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction within the Corrugating Machinery Division (CMD). This position is responsible for efficiently processing billing documentation, coordinating and assigning job orders to Field Service Technicians, and managing service schedules. By maintaining clear communication and strong organizational processes, the Customer Service Coordinator helps ensure seamless service operations and positive customer experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Coordinate weekly billing operations and manage billing administration.
  • Audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and update SAP/CORA accordingly.
  • Receive and process customer purchase orders (POs) and follow up on open POs.
  • Manage urgent service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate contractor scheduling and logistics to support service work.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Engineers to maintain an accurate schedule and workflow.
  • Send quotes to customers, update SAP, and maintain necessary logs.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams.
  • Serve as a backup for Regional Customer Service Coordinators.
  • Coordinate and confirm service schedules for rebuilds, regular service jobs, contracts, new installations, and warranties to support Field Service Technicians and customers.
  • Enter and schedule new rebuilds, regular service jobs, contracts, warranties, and new installations.

 QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

 

  • Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of administrative customer service or accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Any special skills/training/certifications:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word and MS Excel.
    • Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
    • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing a positive experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

  • Travel: Up to 10%
  • Weekend/late night work if applicable: Up to 10%
  • Lifting/physical requirements: Regularly required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, talk and/or hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • The pay range for this position is $29.47 to $34.48 per hour.  The actual wage offered depends on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, and qualifications.
