Role Overview

The Process & Governance Analyst is part of the PMO Process and Planning office and supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Project Lifecycle framework for NGS portfolio elements. This role ensures consistent application of PMO processes, facilitates lifecycle gate readiness, and helps drive standardization across the project portfolio.

The Process & Governance Analyst works closely with the PMO Lead, Project Managers, and cross‑functional teams to improve quality, compliance, and transparency across the project delivery lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of PMO lifecycle processes, gate criteria, and governance frameworks
  • Maintain PMO templates, checklists, SOP updates, and guidance documents
  • Support process harmonization efforts across Engineering, Sales, Project Execution, and Field Operations
  • Facilitate improvement workshops to capture feedback and enhance PMO effectiveness
  • Create and maintain dashboards and portfolio reports
  • Review project deliverables for completeness and compliance prior to lifecycle gate reviews
  • Track process improvement opportunities identified through project execution and integrate them into process updates and templates

  • Comply with all EHS policies and procedures, including reporting unsafe activities
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels
  • Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Protect confidential information
  • Work in a global environment to maintain and update standards and best practices
  • Maintain a valid passport and driver’s license
  • Travel domestically and internationally approximately 20–30% of the work year
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in PMO administration support, project governance, or process development within the power generation or industrial sector
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle frameworks, process governance, and business system integration
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, business, or regulatory documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex processes, gather data, and translate inputs into structured process improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with SAP databases, SharePoint, or other PMO and process management tools

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. When visiting jobsites, noise levels may be moderate to loud, and hearing protection may be required.
