Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is looking for an Associate, Business Support.


This role needs to be based at the Lake Mary, FL Headquarters. Hybrid Open for Discussion.

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This position is for a business student who will work with the business to gather and validate requirements for business applications for new enhancement development. The intern will have great opportunities to work with knowledgeable and experienced business team in two fields of applications and business analysis.

 

    • Work Schedule: During School can work between 16-25 hours a week; during Seasonal breaks can work up to 40 hours a week (based on availability). We will work around your school schedule.
    • Length of Internship: between 12-18 months and need to be able to commit to this time frame if selected. Could go permanent, full-time upon graduation.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND PURPOSE

This position is primarily responsible for many of these major systems:

    • Work with the business to gather and validate requirements for business Applications for new and enhancement development
    • Ability to learn and support business Applications (SharePoint, Windchill, Unifier, CRM and P6)
    • Familiar with P6 and Unifier applications and perform functions such add new users, assist license management, assists business users to import &manual data entry and perform other tasks as requested
    • Coordinate and Facilitate meetings with the business users, and leaders and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
    • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Create reports and assist in providing additional technical business support to PowerBI users as requested
    • Work with IT (MSSA) to troubleshoot and resolve Application issues and knowledge of SQL server Queries
    • Ability to learn and understand business process as requested (Engineering, Document Control, Project Engineering and other units)
    • Understand the concept of Data Lake and able to learn MS Azure components to support data  cloud ingestion, analysis and integration
    • Designs, develops and prepares regular and ad-hoc reports, visualizations, dashboards, and analytic; Develops and defends actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analytics
    • Understands the current disparate data sources, optimizes data intake, validation and effectively communicate data needs and quality issues to guarantee a high standard of data governance and control
    • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the business needs, and formulates complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.
    • Support MPW-A strategic vision and business objectives by collaborating with enterprise wide business units and quality function leaders 
    • Support MPW-A  Quality Management System (QMS) evaluation program and associated continual improvement initiatives
    • Provide technical and administrative support to Corporate Quality Management Team
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic MPW-A corporate quality program 
    • Support the documentation of quality processes and policies, define and implement improvement opportunities, and monitor performance against established standards
    • Collaborate with MPW-A management, project teams and other organizations to provide quality solutions in accordance with MPW-A business needs

Education and/or Experience: Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree at an ABET accredited College or University with interest in major courses in business, business analysis, and/or technology. Maintain a minimum of 3.0 Cumulative GPA to qualify.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and basic database. Must have exp. With MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
