ROLE OVERVIEW

The internship on the Mitsubishi Power Engineering Integration team allows a current student to gain valuable experience in the Power Industry. During their time with Mitsubishi, interns will perform an array of tasks that have direct impact on current internal and external projects we are executing. Mitsubishi will give the intern terrific experience in real world document management systems integration and control.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Document Control Coordinators with day-to-day tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the development and deployment of new software tools for product configuration and requirements management.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of project requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility.
• Support Group Managers, Execution, and Applications Engineering with short- and long-term work assignments, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
• Tasks may include schedule development, template creation, process improvement, database support, integration testing, and other assigned duties.
• Gain a foundational understanding of power industry technology and product execution processes.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Exhibit analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges.
• Work independently with minimal supervision once trained.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education/Experience:
• Active student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.

Language Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, and technical materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to interpret data and graphical information.

Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Project Management tools such as Windchill, Codebeamer, Teamcenter, DevOps, Jira, or Jama is a plus.
