Role Overview
A Construction & Commissioning Engineering (CCE) associate is expected to assist with work for the procedures disciplines related to the construction and commissioning process, and the generation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under the supervision of CCE Members. As a CCE Intern, I will be assigned to support CCE progress and generate the appropriate reports under the direction and supervision of CCE senior members. As a CCE Intern progresses through the technical career path, they will increase their knowledge of erection and commissioning activities. Employees are required to take directions and guidance from the CCE senior members. Additionally, employees are required to have general knowledge of engineering discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and logistics for training sessions and meetings
- Help create and update training materials and presentations
- Support design of visuals and multimedia resources
- Manage emails and communication with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Contribute to onboarding and training program development
- Participate in team projects and help improve processes
- Collaborate with teammates and work independently when needed
- Report to Mitsubishi Power Lake Mary HQ
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: This position requires being enrolled in a college or university program in Mechanical Engineer, other degrees may be considered based on their experience and background.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, engineering drawings and international engineering standards. Ability to write reports, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. Bilingual English / Spanish will be a plus.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and diagrams.
- Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of database software; training software; project management software; spreadsheet software and word processing software. Advanced knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBi, Visio and Project) is a plus.
