Role Overview
The Director, Supply Chain Operational Excellence, is a key leadership role within our Integrated Supply Chain organization. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence by establishing robust governance frameworks, leading digital transformation, and optimizing core supply chain processes. The Director develops and executes strategies to ensure process standardization, data-driven decision-making, and adoption of advanced technologies that improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Operating cross-functionally, this role sets enterprise standards, champions digital initiatives, and delivers continuous improvement across all supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Lead the design and implementation of supply chain governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, compliance, and process maturity.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver digital solutions that support business objectives and future growth.
- Facilitate training and change management programs to build organizational capability in process improvement and digital adoption.
- Build organizational capability, with a strong focus on talent development, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of the supply chain team.
- Provide advisory support to executive leadership on supply chain transformation, risk, and technology trends.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the supply chain organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of Supply Chain Management experience.
- 8+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a leader of leaders.
- Ambassador of change management for processes, systems and organizational values.
- Oversee process improvement programs, utilizing process mapping, data analytics, and lean methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Drive digitalization initiatives, including the selection, deployment, and integration of advanced technologies (ERP, process mining, automation, AI, analytics) to enable end-to-end supply chain visibility and control.
- Strong experience with combustion turbines, steam turbines, generators, auxiliary equipment associated with turbines and generators, and balance of plant (BOP) systems.
- Demonstrated success with equipment cost reduction, lead time reduction and quality control.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with ERP systems (such as SAP). Strong capabilities in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) required.
- Ability to travel 25%.
