Job Description: 

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is looking for an Expeditor II, this is a Hybrid role.

 

Summary

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Monitors Purchase Order Release and follows up with vendors for Monthly Progress Reports (MPR’s), set up MDL in SharePoint, train vendors on how to upload as necessary 
  • Reviews MPR’s to baseline schedule to monitor for any schedule delays, relays information as necessary, report on monthly process for each item of the project 
  • Expedites submission of Quality and Logistics deliverables to dates into MP system 
  • Expedites parts and drop ship integrations deliveries to dates in the MP system 
  • Supplier Expediting visits as necessary 
  • Obtains Proof of Deliveries from vendors as needed 
  • Review Shippable Bill of Materials (SBOM) as required to develop accurate Vendor DPLs, expedite missing items as required 
  • Support Release to Pack and Release to Ship process, review photos, DPLs, etc.… 
  • Issue Shipping Notifications to site via SharePoint ensuring MP and Contract requirements are met 
  • Manage the MDR (Material Delivery Report) 
  • Lead customer meeting to review the upcoming deliveries related to the Shipping Notifications and MDR document 
  • Support site (MP TFA and EPC) with delivery issues, information requests, etc. 
  • Expedite suppliers for closure of OS&D's (i.e., parts and/or information). 
  • Setup MPR requirements in SharePoint (in MDL) 
  • Conduct weekly Delivery Schedule Reviews with Project Team and Customer 
  • Reporting- Maintain the OTD report 
  • Tracks and itemizes Labor for items outside of the original scope of supply 
  • Attend customer meetings as required in support of Expediting and Material Control Processes 
  • Perform other duties such as required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Education

 

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or at least (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, engineering drawings, engineering specifications for material, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and basic database.
