SCOPE:

 

The Jr. HRIS Analyst main focus is to provide premier client support to MHIA affiliate companies using Workforce Central/Dimensions applications. This position will assist in the development of new and innovative ways to automate HR functions and processes by supporting upgrades, testing and other technical projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in HRIS and excellent customer service skills.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Support

  • Provide meaningful Tier I support before escalating to UKG HRIS Analysts.
  • Troubleshoot everyday issues ranging from employee logins and time clock issues.
  • Ensure that a feasible timeline is established from the initial issue to the end resolution.
  • Advises the client beyond an issue/resolution to improve the company’s efficiency within UKG Workforce Central.
  • Assist users to develop, maintain, produce, and distribute standard and custom reports, queries, and interfaces.
  • Assist in the change management efforts to envision, enroll, and execute others to engage in the UKG platform.
  • Investigates and resolves production support issues.

 

System Management

  • Responsible for basic configuration tasks in UKG
  • Analyzes data, information and systems problems by applying analytical skills and effectively communicate findings and design solutions using Excel, Smartsheet or other HR systems.
  • Provide assistance in the requirements gathering, development, implementation, and testing of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HR to ensure efficient business processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining a thorough, efficient and accurate HRIS database.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and testing.
  • Analyze software releases to assess impact of new features.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborates in a team environment and independently with vendors, business partners, and technology teams on projects, support activities, application development, and standardization.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to document business processes and user flows and analyze input from product owners to create and design solutions to help solve business problems.
  • Successfully assist in knowledge transfer to equip clients with the knowledge and tools to navigate the UKG platform.
  • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology.
  • Work with the wider HRIS team and HR staff to consolidate data models and drive process decisions.
  • Finding and resolving HRIS problems by comparing data from different sources to create solutions.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation.
  • Investigates and resolves standard production support issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education/experience/certifications.
  • Experience:  At least 1 year of experience in HRIS, Business Systems or similar field.
  • Any special skills/training/certifications
    • Experience with UKG platform or similar Time and Labor Systems
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical/functional specifications.
    • Strong technical proficiency required, including Microsoft Office products.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel: 10%
  • Weeend/late night work if applicable: Ocassionally.
  • Lifting/physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
