Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Business Process Improvement Manager.

 

SUMMARY

 

Our New Generation Systems (NGS) Business Excellence (BE) team is responsible for driving NGS strategic initiatives in quality, process and system improvements, aligning with our long-term vision and operational priorities.

We are seeking a Business Process Improvement Manager to join our expanding team.

As a key member of our BE team, you will coach and lead a small team responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering business process, system, data and reporting improvements across NGS.

The Business Process Improvement team’s work plays a key role in creating a more connected process, data-driven and efficient organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership

Lead and support internal NGS initiatives focused on people, process and system improvements

Partner with our NGS departments to understand business needs, priorities and challenges

Facilitate workshops, gather and document business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories

Translate requirements into clear functional specifications and improvement proposals

Partner with NGS departments and IT to design and implement business processes and technology solutions aligned with NGS strategy

Manage and execute business process and systems improvement projects

Lead and mentor your team, including performance management, skill development and workload planning

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

 

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of experience in business process improvement, requirements gathering and analysis, documentation, and system implementation

Proven track record in leading cross-functional improvement projects, managing stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation

Skilled in process mapping, continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and change management

Strong experience in coaching and leading teams, performance management, and talent development

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels

Familiarity with business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

Certification such as Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, PMP are a plus

Ability to travel 20%
