Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Logistics Associate to support all international & domestics logistics, including the transport of oversized or overweight equipment to our customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Assist in coordinating domestic and international shipments for project cargo
  • Support logistics planning activities, including route analysis and transportation mode selection
  • Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders
  • Help prepare shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, customs documents)
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor logistics costs and assist with budget tracking and reporting
  • Support the transportation invoicing process
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Maintain accurate records in logistics and project management systems
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning for transportation activities

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources;
  • Participate in proactive team efforts and leadership to achieve departmental, company and individual goals and objectives;
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit;
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management at all levels;
  • Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties;
  • Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times;
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Exposure to project logistics lifecycle (planning → execution → closeout)
  • Hands-on experience with oversized/heavy haul logistics
  • Introduction to global trade compliance basics
  • Mentorship from experienced logistics professionals

 

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in logistics, transportation, or global supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

 

Preferred:

  • Prior internship or coursework in logistics, supply chain, or project management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or transportation management systems
  • Basic understanding of international shipping and Incoterms
