Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for a Senior SAP Finance Business Analyst.

SUMMARY

 

The Finance SAP FICO Analyst is part of a team responsible for supporting multiple SAP ECC 6.0 applications in North America.  This person will also help support other financial integrations to other finance applications such as the consolidation/planning/budgeting software (OneStream), Taxing Software (Vertex), Local governments for Mexico & Latin America. This position is focused on delivering systems analysis, requirements gathering, design, configuring, testing, implementation and maintenance activities for finance business needs for our SAP enterprise business system. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead business requirements gathering, document functional requirements, help define and implement finance best business processes.
  • Successfully complete SAP system configuration, testing and on-going support of all Finance activities including Consolidation, Planning, and budgeting application.
  • Responsible to document and support SAP integration to other financial applications such as Concur, UKG, OneStream, Vertex, ACH, 3rd party providers.
  • Responsible and accountable for meeting business defined deadlines.
  • Recommends options or solutions that meet the business needs and desired functionality.
  • Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Assist performing foreign currency revaluation process in SAP ECC 6.
  • Help analyze business issues and debug any program issues that arise.
  • Help define and maintain best business standards for all programming activities
  • Document changes and procedures for successful development execution.
  • Work with the developers for total solution estimations for the business based on business requirements, suggesting alternative solution methods where possible.
  • Avoid any application customization and use standard SAP when possible.
  • Perform solid unit testing of all development items prior to passing the development items to the business analyst for minimal changes.
  • Help with applying patches, OSS notes, upgrades, and migration to S4/HANA
  • Applies quality standards to work products.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.
  • Minimal travel.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

  • Demonstrated proficiency SAP FICO and in one or more SAP modules is required, including hands-on configuration documentation testing and implementation.
  • Must have a good understanding in performing consolidation steps in SAP ECCS including Intercompany elimination, translation, and posting Manual JEs in ECCS
  • Proven impact on the success of Finance Implementations/upgrades
  • Strong LSMW experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and model development skills required.
  • Prefer a strong working knowledge of the inter-relationship between the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Requires a self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and take ownership of projects, performing job requirements with minimal oversight and high attention to detail.
  • Position will require a hands-on approach to manage detailed analysis as well as to manage the higher-level business analyses required.
  • Solid project management and financial analysis experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must possess strong financial business understanding and have the ability to review and evaluate financial reporting needs and trend analysis.
  • Understanding of Product costing in the typical manufacturing environment and should be able to provide training to business on creating cost estimates.
  • Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications, accurate time estimates, work break down structure (WBS) and creation of clear and concise documentation.
  • Perform moderately complex system and business process analysis, identify inadequate or inefficient systems and recommend alternatives to reduce cost or increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to project estimating and planning efforts -providing input/clarity on business requirements and options to implement those requirements.
  • Prepare/lead training, change management and information sessions for end users.
  • Must have gone through at least 3 full SAP implementation lifecycle.
  • Set standards and implement process improvements.
  • Timely and efficient help desk ticket resolutions
  • Able to mentor and guide other developers with standards and problem-solving techniques.

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in IT or equivalent. Strong controls and process improvement experience. 7 years’ experience of Strong SAP FICO production support. 5+ Years of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple business functions and SAP PS (Project System), SAP MM (Material Management) SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP PP (Production Planning) 5+ Years of leading and co-ordinate work for small to medium projects, improving business processes.
  • Language Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information. Ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong analytical skills. Must have experience trying to standardize different business process.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent PC skills – Experience with SAP, and Microsoft Office. Strong Report painter experience preferred.
