Role Overview
The PMO Tools & Process Integration Specialist is responsible for digitizing, automating, and operationalizing PMO processes within the organization’s project management tools. This role develops process maps, integrates templates and SOP links, and builds automated workflows to support consistent and scalable delivery of NGS power generation projects.
The Specialist works closely with the PMO, Engineering, IT, and project teams to improve usability, adoption, and overall efficiency of PMO tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end‑to‑end process maps for project execution and PMO governance
- Translate governance requirements into intuitive digital workflows and dashboards
- Maintain up‑to‑date process diagrams aligned with PMO standards
- Build automated workflows for approvals, alerts, deliverable tracking, and gate compliance
- Integrate templates, SOPs, and process documentation directly into PMO tool interfaces
- Manage centralized libraries of PMO templates, forms, and SOP trackers
- Ensure version control and proper linkage between processes and templates
- Build dashboards for deliverable tracking, lifecycle stages, resource visibility, and compliance metrics
- Automate routine reporting to reduce manual project management effort
- Monitor data quality and ensure accurate information flows across PMO systems
- Coordinate with IT, Engineering, Project Managers, and leadership to support system integrations and enhancements
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all EHS policies and procedures, including reporting unsafe activities
- Communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Protect confidential information
- Work in a global environment to maintain and update standards and best practices
- Maintain a valid passport and driver’s license
- Travel domestically and internationally approximately 20–30% of the work year
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience supporting PMO tools, workflow automation, or digital process design in the power generation or industrial sector
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle frameworks, process governance, and business system integration
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and business documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into efficient digital workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with tools such as SAP databases, Smartsheet, Visio, Miro, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar PMO and visualization tools
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Jobsite environments may include moderate to loud noise levels, and hearing protection may be required in certain locations.
