Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking an Expeditor II.
SUMMARY
The Expeditor II is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and expediting material deliveries to ensure they meet Mitsubishi Power required delivery dates. This role works closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and seamless material flow to support project execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor Purchase Order Releases to ensure supplier commitments align with required timelines.

Populate and maintain Master Delivery Reports (MDR) for active projects.

Verify vendors are properly set up in the ERP system for documentation submissions.

Review Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) against baseline schedules, identifying and communicating delays.

Expedite project document submissions to meet due dates in ERP systems (e.g., Engineering & Quality MDLs).

Conduct supplier expediting visits as necessary to ensure compliance with delivery schedules.

Review Shippable Bill of Materials (SBOM) against vendor Detail Packing Lists (DPL) for accuracy and completeness.

Follow up on outstanding items pending delivery and support the Release to Pack and Release to Ship processes.

Issue shipping notifications to site personnel, ensuring compliance with MPWA and contract requirements.

Support site personnel (MPWA TFA and EPC) with delivery issues and information requests.

Expedite supplier resolution of open shortages, damages, and discrepancies (OS&Ds).

Maintain and publish On-Time Delivery (OTD) and OS&D reports.

Attend customer meetings to support expediting and material control processes.

Obtain Proof of Delivery from vendors to ensure timely closure of shipments.

Close out invoices and post goods receipts in the ERP system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Capable of presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.

Ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric concepts.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.

Capable of interpreting written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
Computer Skills:

Basic proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

Ability to effectively communicate job tasks, goals, and project updates to global sourcing staff.
