Supply Chain Specialist

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist.

SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Specialist supports core supply chain functions by managing systems, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement efforts across the department. This role acts as a key resource for business systems support, supplier engagement, and process documentation within the Supply Chain Operational Excellence team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as administrator and subject matter expert for the supplier portal platform.

• Manage internal helpdesk tickets related to supply chain systems and provide user support.

• Coordinate supplier enablement and communication across procurement and accounts payable functions.

• Conduct economic, business continuity, and sanction screenings for supplier qualification.

• Monitor system releases and lead related change management, training, and documentation efforts.

• Support data-driven projects and collaborate on broader operational initiatives.

• Develop and maintain training materials such as SOPs, work instructions, and quick reference guides.

• Provide general support to the Operational Excellence team and perform additional duties as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Economics, International Business, or related field.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to write professional reports and training documentation.

• Basic understanding of financial/accounting concepts related to supply chain operations.

• Comfortable solving complex problems with limited standardization.

• Effective communicator and collaborator across departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

• SAP or ERP system experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regularly required to stand and walk; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.

• Moderate to loud noise environments; hearing protection may be required in some areas.
