The Maintenance Programs Analyst will develop and optimize aircraft scheduled maintenance requirements for CRJ aircraft family.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the Maintenance Engineering team towards business objectives by setting priorities.
  • Revise, maintain and develop new scheduled maintenance program requirements by applying MSG-3 principles.
  • Present MSG-3 Analyses and technical presentations pertaining to scheduled maintenance to present and Industry Steering Committee (ISC) meetings.
  • Justify maintenance tasks and intervals using in-service maintenance, cost, and reliability data.
  • Define and implement preventative & corrective actions in response to aircraft in-service findings in accordance with established MSG-3 practices.
  • Participate in regular customer and regulatory facing events in support of the continuous improvement and development of aircraft scheduled maintenance requirements and cost-reduction activities.
  • Prepare and present technical presentations in support of various customer/regulatory facing events.
  • Support internal and external customer requests for deliverables such as analyses, impact and cost estimates and program proposals.
  • Collect and analyze scheduled maintenance records, analyze PIREP/MAREP information and conduct in-depth analyses of in-service data to optimize the scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Work in collaboration with MHIRH Engineering, Suppliers, Operators to establish effective maintenance requirements and intervals.
  • Support internal and external customer requests for maintenance engineering deliverables such as analysis, estimates, proposals and design reviews.
  • Work with specific Operators to optimize their maintenance programs to suit their operational characteristics
  • Work closely with aviation authorities to obtain approval of scheduled maintenance.
  • Occasional travel may be required for this position.

 

Education & Professional Qualifications

 

  • Engineering Degree (Aerospace or Mechanical) or AME License holder.
  • 10+ Years working experience in aerospace/mechanical field.

 

Experience

 

  • Previous MSG-3 and ISC experience is required.
  • Maintenance planning, reliability and/ or engineering experience with an Airline or Manufacturer is highly desirable.
  • Experience with training and development of team is highly desirable.

 

Skills

  • You understand MSG-3 and the Maintenance Review Board and ISC process.
  • Demonstrate strong grasp of MSG-3 Principals in-line with established guidelines.
  • Able to manage several concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to think quickly and creatively in a fast-moving and changing business context.
  • You have strong analytical abilities and some experience using statistics to resolve engineering issues
  • Strong communicator, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong English language skill (written and verbal) are required for this position.
  • Ability to deal effectively with Customers, and aviation authorities and have Customer oriented mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • You have good presentation skills, and are at ease when presenting to large audiences.
