In Service Engineering Specialist - Hydro-Mechcanical

MHIRJ is the fusion of two major legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide complete operational, engineering, and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing activities, and sales for the global regional aircraft industry. We are looking for a In Service Engineering Specialist - Hydro-Mechcanical to join our In‑Service Engineering team.

Job Summary

Your main responsibilities will be to provide support and resolve short‑term technical service issues for the CRJ aircraft series, including permanent or temporary repairs to ensure a rapid return to service for AOG aircraft.

Your contribution as a In Service Engineering Specialist - Hydro-Mechcanical : 

• You will prepare and issue return‑to‑service documents in the form of engineering deliverables (REO, Instructions, SNIEO).

• You must respond to technical questions from FSRs (field service representatives) and operators.

• You will participate in operator conferences, periodic activity reports, and operator technical reviews.

• You may be asked to travel occasionally to support our MRT (Mobile Repair Team) or assist operators with repair incorporation and troubleshooting.

What you need to succeed

• You have a university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering. A specialization related to hydro‑mechanical systems is preferred.

• You have experience in maintenance or technical support for hydro‑mechanical systems; technical experience with CRJ or Challenger aircraft is an asset. Airline experience is also an asset.

• You are familiar with Windows and Office software.

• You have strong presentation and communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

• You have strong technical investigation skills.

• You are autonomous, enthusiastic, highly organized, customer‑oriented, willing to travel, and available for on‑call duty.

• English is required for this position, as the selected candidate will regularly communicate with colleagues, customers, or partners located outside Québec.
