MRB Coordinator

Reporting to the Supervisor – Supplier Quality, the MRB Coordinator contributes to the success of MHICA by keeping inventory at a minimum value and to drive parts through the process as determined by the disposition all while ensuring non-conforming product compliance.
Shifts
Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts to accommodate production schedule, including days, and afternoons as required.

Responsibilities
-
Quarantined Parts - Ensure control of non-conforming product process is followed.
-
Parts going in and out quarantine cage are logged in QSF Q8.3-01-03 Rev. B Quarantine Log.
-
Make sure all transactions are completed in ERP system such as SYSPRO before physically moving parts IN/OUT from MRB cage.
-
Parts are red tagged with all applicable information.
-
Quarantine log is completed correctly (I-TAG #, PART NUMBER, DATE IN, DATE OF REMOVAL AND INSPECTION STAMP)

All parts in cage’s are accounted for in a log
-
Coordinate with engineering to expediate the disposition process.
-
Parts exiting quarantine have disposition
-
As required train the peoples to make sure process is properly followed and implemented.
-
Works with team, Engineering, inspection groups, Supply Chain and production to assure required approvals are obtained with efficiency and assuring no impact on quality.

Follows through on actions required to resolve or execute dispositions determined as part of the MRB process, owns the escalation process when issues are preventing the efficient operation of the MRB process or when potential impact on quality.

To assist in maintaining MRB process compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System.

Report any KPIs assigned by management.

ITAG expediting- Expedite execution of MRB dispositions to reduce MRB inventory by:

Following up on RRS
-
Following up and coordinate with supply chain to expediate the process of RTV
-
Following up on Scrap or UAI dispositions
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
-
Clear knowledge of structural and functional integrity of aircraft components.
-
Experience with measuring tools/devices.
-
Knowledge of BAPS (Bombardier Aerospace Process Specification) and drawings.
-
Working experience of FAI (First Article Inspection) process.
-
Must have knowledge and working experience of I-Tag process.
-
PIR book structure and LSSR.
-
Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
-
Knowledge of the I-Tag system and flow of I-Tag process including MRNC.
-
Satisfy the Specific Qualification requirements defines in the training curriculums including Quality Systems procedures.
-
Satisfy and qualify with MHI Quality Assurance Department and Bombardier.
-
Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Experience
-
Minimum 5 years previous experience as Quality Inspector in aerospace or prior MRB experience.
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in corrective action activities
-
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience working as a QA Inspector for specific aircraft and assembly process.
-
Experience within an aerospace or manufacturing environment, considered an asset.
-
Quality experience in other industries considered an asset.
Education

College diploma or undergraduate degree in related field
