Role Overview
Provides and leads analysis, oversight and implementation of business improvement efforts to meet PGS commitments with its employees, customers and business objectives. Responsibilities include developing and equipping employees with the frameworks, training, mentorship, and tools needed to foster a culture of continuous improvement and deliver long-term, sustainable impact across the organization.
Implement process improvements through application of a variety of analysis and improvement methods including Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and statistics. Assist the organization in developing a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate workshops, brainstorming, and/or training sessions to identify opportunities for improvement, process’ gaps and identify possible solutions
- Evaluate business requirements and support prioritization based on business impact, cost and benefit
- Work as Business Project Manager coordinating activities for the successful implementation of new information systems requirements, supported on the SME, his business knowledge, best practices and IT knowledge
- Integrate project management tools and the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC framework with ADKAR change management principles to anticipate and minimize resistance from employees and stakeholders affected by continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead efforts to document and train personnel in business processes to drive clear divisions of responsibility and clear standard methodologies in processing OEM Service Operations quote requests and contract/order execution
- Lead efforts in cross department coordination activities where OEM Service Operations department is a supplier or consumer of information in a large business process
- Lead efforts to identify, modify and implement information system tools that enhance the quality and/or productivity of OEM Service Operations processes. In particular, seek ways to incorporate potential benefits of Wind Chill, S&OP tools, SAP and CRM existing and future developments
- Support the monitoring and reporting Service Operation business results & quality metrics, recommend and implement strategies and current or new Business Intelligence systems for the on time distribution of accurate information
- Lead/facilitate and provide follow up to improvement events targeted towards increasing operational performance consistent with the business plan
- Recommend and implement strategies to maintain a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization, by facilitating ADKAR Change Management, Lean, Six Sigma, Zero Defect and any other training as needed
- Lead process improvement initiatives as directed acting as facilitator and project manager, ensuring business needs are met and project is executed on time and on budget
- Develop strategies to user current and new systems to capture and store operational effectiveness data and identify metrics relevant to the business and its managers
- Analyze and report business relevant data, identifies trends and risks
- Support department operational reviews
- Perform other such duties as may be required

Knowledge, Skills & Education (Requirements)

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business or related field, and at least seven (7) years of experience on managing cross functional process improvement projects. Master’s degree in related area is preferred and can be considered as substitution for some experience. Green Belt, ADKAR Change Management Practitioner or PMP certification is required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial statements, technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Medium to advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, database, data manipulation, analysis software. Knowledge on SAP, CRM, Wind Chill, MS SharePoint or any other similar platforms are desirable. MS Project, Primavera or experience with any other Project management software is a plus.
