Role Overview

The Digital Support Summer Associate will support the Business Intelligence team in Operational Excellence. The position is responsible for supporting the development of catalogs, reports, and maintaining documentation. The associate will contribute to the development and enhancement of solutions with the Power Platform with a focus on PowerBI reporting. Provide hands-on assistance with internal application development projects across various platforms.  

Key Responsibilities

• Development of PowerBI reporting
• Contribute to UI design, writing and debugging code, and integrating third-party services
• Working with a range of programming languages and technologies, such as M-Query, JSON, SQL, and Python, depending on the project requirements.
• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Mitsubishi personnel to conceive, design, and develop innovative products and services
• Support creation of all documentation related to development and use of applications
• Ability to manage product/application development with minimal guidance
• Meet project deadlines as indicated in a project plan and assigned tasks
• Able to estimate work for defined features
• Support implementing new features on existing products, fixing bugs, and improving performance
• Commit code with detailed notes working with source control mechanisms
• Perform other such duties as may be required
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

4. 1. • Junior or Senior completing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering bachelor’s degree preferred, open to other degrees based on experience/background of applicant, including data science, engineering of all disciplines, information systems.

• Computer Skills: advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, database, data manipulation, analysis software. Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred:

• • Programming experience with at least one modern server language
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
  • Exposure to all stages of development: design, development, testing, and deployment
  • understanding of both client and web application architectures
  • Preferred experience with Python – Django framework, Docker, Git, MySQL, MongoDB, and Azure deployment
