  • Perform feasibility, front-end engineering design, and detailed engineering studies.
  • Specify vendor requirements for pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, skids, instrumentation, pipe supports, and related components while ensuring compliance with codes, contracts, and internal standards.
  • Prepare process engineering calculations and supporting technical documentation.
  • Analyze flow networks using AFT Arrow and AFT Fathom.
  • Develop and interpret Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs using SmartPlant P&ID.
  • Prepare piping engineering calculations and documentation.
  • Use 3D piping design tools such as PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D, or Creo Piping to develop system layouts and routing.
  • Use 3D laser scan data to support new designs and avoid clashes.
  • Perform or review pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II and/or AutoPIPE.
  • Analyze and select pipe supports and apply piping materials and class requirements.
  • Prepare plot plans, piping arrangements, isometrics, construction drawings, and spool drawings for field and shop fabrication.

  • Interpret ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.12 requirements and ensure piping code requirements are incorporated into designs and vendor specifications.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials, installation documentation, operator manuals, and training materials.
  • Provide site support for operator training, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
  • Standardize auxiliary system designs for efficient deployment across customers and projects.
  • Support ISO 9001 audits, compliance activities, documentation improvements, and configuration control methods.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis and diagnostic activities for auxiliary systems experiencing field issues during service operation.
  • Use product lifecycle and requirements management tools, including Windchill.
  • Support EPC project execution and contract requirements.
  • Comply with safety policies, protect confidential information, and maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
  • Travel domestically and internationally 10% to 20%, including occasional trips lasting two or more weeks.
