Role Overview

  • Provides maintenance and repair support to ensure the structural integrity, functionality, and safety of facilities, infrastructure, and grounds.
  • Supports higher-level technicians in completing installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Ensures work orders are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and complete work orders with clear reporting of actions performed.
  • Assist Facilities Technician II/Senior Technicians on complex repairs and installations.
  • Perform drywall, stucco, painting, and general cosmetic repairs.
  • Complete basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and lifts.
  • Maintain HVAC systems, compressors, and building systems.
  • Repair doors, windows, locks, and related hardware.
  • Support furniture moves and setup for meetings and events.
  • Maintain building grounds, fences, and gates.
  • Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Follow safety policies and environmental procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance disciplines including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and instructions.
  • Basic computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and maintenance systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
