Finance Manager (North American Manufacturing)

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Finance Manager (North American Manufacturing).
SUMMARY
Support the North American Manufacturing (NAM) finance function by leading consolidation, reporting, and process standardization across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, driving consistent processes, and supporting key deliverables such as cash management, CAPEX tracking, forecasting, and automation of financial analytics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead monthly financial consolidation and reporting across NAM manufacturing facilities, including preparation of supplemental reporting slides for executive and corporate review.
- Support weekly and monthly cash management activities, including direct and indirect cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Prepare and maintain monthly CAPEX tracking reports, comparing actuals to forecast and annual plan.
- Prepare consolidated monthly balance sheet reports and flux analysis using system data and commentary from plant controllers.
- Partner with plant controllers to align on close timelines, deliverables, and consistent processes across both sites.
- Consolidate NAM-level budgets and forecasts and coordinate with Corporate FP&A on submission requirements.
- Support the development and rollout of standard financial procedures across manufacturing finance teams.
- Drive future automation and system improvements, including KPI dashboards and enhanced analytics tools.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in reporting, forecasting, and close processes.
- Act as a key contributor to internal process alignment and financial governance across the manufacturing division.
- Minimal travel once per Quarter approximatley.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including experience with financial consolidation, reporting, and budgeting. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, and accounting, database, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet, word processing and email software. SAP expereince and strong Excel a PLUS.
