SUMMARY
The Human Resources Associate (Intern) will support the HR department in delivering solutions that align with business goals and enhance company culture. This role will assist with day-to-day HR operations and collaborate with management to help foster a positive workplace environment that balances employee engagement with organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the development and implementation of various training and orientation programs.

Maintain company organizational charts & directories.

Assist PGS management with event planning activities.

Work alongside other departments in proactive team efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Review and assure all communication is accurate and approved prior to issuance/delivery.

Perform other such duties as may be required.

Support with the onboarding process.

Map and document HR processes.
-
Update HRIS as needed and document filing.
-
Support with recruiting efforts.
-
Draft Job Aids for employees to complete transactions.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.

Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Junior or Senior completing a human resources, business, psychology, or management bachelor’s degree preferred; open to other degrees based on experience and background of the applicant.
Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Moderate to proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Ability to travel occasianlly to our Lake Mary, FL office.
