SUMMARY

Support the Human Resources department in delivering solutions that help drive the business and culture by providing HR support for the PGS operations.  Work closely with management to promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive team member relations with the company’s business objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES THAT MAY BE INCLUDED WITH THIS POSITION

  • Assist with the development and implementation of various training and orientation programs
  • Maintain company organizational charts & directories
  • Assist PGS management with event planning activities
  • Work alongside other departments in proactive team efforts to achieve organizational goals
  • Review and assure all communication is accurate and approved prior to issuance/delivery
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.
  • Support triggering background checks.
  • Map and document HR processes.
  • Update HRIS as needed and document filing.
  • Support with recruiting efforts.
  • Draft Job Aids for employees to complete transactions.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an advocate of  all safety policies, practices and procedures, reporting all unsafe activities to Management
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit
  • Protect all confidential information

      • Education and/or Experience: Active student in a college or university.
      • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
      • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
      • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
      • Computer Skills: Moderate to proficient Microsoft Office skills
