ROLE OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR department in delivering solutions that help drive the business and culture by providing HR support for the PGS operations. The role works closely with management to promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive team member relations with the company’s business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the development and implementation of various training and orientation programs

Maintain company organizational charts and directories

Support PGS management with event planning activities

Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals

Review and ensure communication accuracy prior to delivery

Trigger background checks and maintain documentation

Map and document HR processes
-
Update HRIS and support with recruiting efforts
-
Draft job aids and resources for employees to complete HR transactions

Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS

Actively enrolled in a college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
