Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, Fl is looking for an MRO Global Sourcing Specialist II.

 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Identify and source MRO materials and services needed for facility operations.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contract with supplier to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Analyze usage patterns and forecast future demand to optimize inventory.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and obsolescence.
  • Conduct cost analyses to identify areas for potential savings.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor spending against budgeted amounts.
  • Report on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement best practices and improve efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in MRO procurement.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers and coordinates with legal when required.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university; and as a minimum three (3) years of
  • procurement experience in the power generation industry; or eight (8) years of procurement
  • experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable
  • knowledge, skills, and abilities has been achieved. MBA/ ISM/ APCIS Members/ CSCM or CPIM,
  • preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, engineering drawings,
  • engineering specifications for material, professional journals, technical procedures, or
  • governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
  • manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
