Role Overview
The Operation Support Specialist position is responsible for providing accounts administration for Mitsubishi Power Long-Term Service Account Project Managers and Regional Managers. This role is a team support position that requires knowledge of fundamental project management principles, CRM and SAP, organization and developing the application of these principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Support PMs on parts quoting (CRM). CRM parts opportunity creation and maintenance
- Bookings and SN creation and tracking
- Manage all facets of parts shipments and returns and be the point of contact for Warehouse and Transportation requests
- Preparation of Hot parts repair turnover data
- Work/coordinate with LTSA Repair Program Manager and manage LTSA Brown/ Ref contract spares (Parts trac)
- Pre-outage planning support: Manage/update pre-outage prep sheet and ensure quality of the process. Support parts availability requirements and establish communication with PMs as well as order fulfillment, transportation, shipping and receiving and other teams as needed to ensure proper planning.
- Post-Outage planning Support: Collect and review post outage configuration records, closely work with Field Service Project Management, and LTSA PM for configuration records receivable and processing;
- Perform sanity checks before parts shipment (Blades and Nozzles)
- Support the review of LTSA Parts rotations quarterly and/or post outage
- Align SAP demand with parts rotations
- Work with LTSA PMs to log new items in the Warranty tracker. Generate invoices and credit memos to customer
Requirements
- Accredited degree from college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to four (4) years
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business financial statements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources;
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties;
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times;
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and initiatives;
- Ability to travel 10%
