Role Overview
Mitsubishi Power is hiring an Organizational Learning Program Manager in the Orlando Service Center location. The Organizational Learning Program Manager leads the governance and implementation of PGS-wide learning initiatives that drive knowledge sharing and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. This role ensures that insights and lessons learned from projects, operations, and outages are systematically captured, analyzed, and translated into actionable improvements. Through effective communication and integration across PGS, the Program Manager helps reduce risk, enhance performance, and strengthen organizational learning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Program Design & Strategy: Develop and maintain a PGS-wide Learning Ecosystem framework.; establish a standardized methodology for capturing and categorizing lessons; align program objectives with organizational goals, risk management, and performance improvement.
- Execution & Facilitation: Lead structured lessons-learned sessions for projects, incidents, and milestones; collaborate with teams to capture lessons in real time; and identify systemic issues and recommend actionable improvements.
- Knowledge Management & Analysis: Maintain a centralized knowledge repository; create dashboards and reports to track trends, best practices, and risks; and partner with analytics and IT to automate data collection and dissemination.
- Governance & Communication: Define governance for accountability in implementing lessons; present findings and trends to senior leadership; and develop communication plans and training to foster a learning culture.
- Application & Continuous Improvement: Support teams in applying lessons to new projects and processes; develop and monitor action plans for improvement; and measure program effectiveness through KPIs and integrate lessons into lifecycle management and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Knowledge Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, process improvement, or organizational learning. Preferably experience in the Power Generation Industry.
- PMP Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Proven success designing and managing lessons learned or continuous improvement programs.
- Exceptional project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional organization, including managing multiple priorities, tracking deadlines, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.
