Role Overview

This role is responsible for performing repair and maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines. This position requires availability for emergency issues such as power outages, severe weather, or urgent facility needs on a 24/7/365 basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and re‑arrange complex equipment.
  • Diagnose complex equipment failures.
  • Dismantle, repair, and re‑assemble complex equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Install and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Protect confidential information.
  • Maintain a high degree of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or at least three years of related experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and must not require employer immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve problems using written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
  • Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, electrical risk, and varying environmental conditions.
