Role Overview
Mitsubishi Power is hiring a Project Analyst Intern in the Orlando, FL office. As part of our IGNITE Internship Program, you won’t just observe—you’ll contribute. In this role, the intern will provide project support for Field Services. The Project Analyst Internship requires basic understanding of business process, communication, and organization. Must be able to work under pressure with short deadlines is also needed to be able to provide the best services to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will have an anticipated graduation date of May 2028 and be able to work part-time (20-28 hours per week) while taking classes. During breaks from school, the intern may work a fulltime schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Generate Purchase Orders for subvendors on individual projects on a high volume basis.
- Organize and file vendor Purchase Orders and invoices for prompt payment.
- Organize and file customer invoices, debit memos and credit memos.
- Create and maintain billing/invoice registers.
- Monitor and expedite vendor invoices to Mitsubishi Power Americas Inc. to enable faster invoicing to our customers.
- Assist in maintaining project folders.
- Support other Project Analysts in their duties and responsibilities.
- Provide project support including but not limited to: communication with office and site operation personnel, administrative document control, and customer billing support
- Assist with the consolidation and organization of project documents to facilitate customer invoicing.
- Cooperate during financial audits.
- Interact with Mitsubishi Power counterparts such as Mitsubishi Power -HQ, MHPSC, MHI, MEPPI/MELCO, and MC.
- Participate in training courses and programs as they relate to overall business and personal development, as well as product related developments.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as industry reports and technical journals.
- Ability to make judgment decisions based on material specifications or technical requirements
- Advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, drawings, programming language, etc.
