Role Overview

The Project Controls Associate supports the estimating, planning, and coordination efforts of the Field Service organization. This role assists with data analysis, cost tracking, and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build foundational experience in project controls, cost estimating, and engineering project planning within the power generation industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support project controls activities by sourcing, reviewing, and organizing historical pricing and cost data
  • Assist in analyzing outage and cost standards to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate Estimate Request Form status, responses, and data accuracy across internal stakeholders
  • Communicate requirements, timelines, and expectations to cross‑functional teams
  • Support multiple concurrent tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment in all work activities
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • Protect confidential and proprietary information
  • Complete other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with data analysis tools preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship (export control eligibility required)
