Role Overview

  • Supports the North American Manufacturing (NAM) Program Management Office as an execution leader for growth and transformation initiatives across Savannah Machinery Works and Orlando Service Center.
  • Provides initiative execution discipline, milestone management, cross-functional coordination, and risk visibility to ensure work is executable, sequenced, and aligned to capacity.
  • Serves as an internal leader responsible for project delivery, performance tracking, and alignment to Mitsubishi Power standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects with accountability for delivery, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, reviews, communications, and site visits.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify critical paths, manage resources, and implement recovery and contingency plans as needed.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, and risk using formal change control and risk management processes.
  • Coordinate and report project financials, status, performance metrics, and risk mitigation to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams using Mitsubishi Power project management methodologies, tools, and quality standards.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, reporting, and training.
  • Train and mentor Project Managers in project management fundamentals, processes, and tools.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate project documentation, status reports, financial reports, and close-out packages.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and ensure timely communication of decisions, actions, and commitments.
  • Comply with safety policies, support company goals, maintain confidentiality, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of experience managing power generation or complex industrial projects.
  • PMP certification preferred; may substitute for up to two years of experience.
  • Strong ability to analyze technical, financial, and performance data and develop actionable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to customers and leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and standard business applications.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to approximately 30%.
