­Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, Florida is looking for a LTSA Sales Manager.




Responsible for developing deal strategy, creating proposals, leading negotiations, developing contracts and closing assigned opportunities for Long Term Service Programs (LTSPs) for MHPS projects in the Americas.  These projects include services for both Mitsubishi and related other-OEM gas turbines as well as associated generators and steam turbines.  Act as Sales Lead for assigned opportunities, utilizing support as required from Mitsubishi’s Legal and Operations departments.


  • Responsible for meeting sales objectives while ensuring accuracy of proposals and contracts.
  • Act as lead service team representative for assigned new equipment projects, working closely with the New Generation Systems commercial team in proposing and negotiating LTSPs.
  • Act as Sales lead for proposing and negotiating new LTSPs for installed-base equipment or extensions to existing contracts in collaboration with the regional sales team and assigned Program Manager.
  • Take ownership of internal review and approval process and ensure required business units are engaged.  Seek and document required approvals in accordance with Grants of Authority process.  Lead process for turnover of executed contracts to the Operations team for implementation.
  • Engage and communicate with customers to understand their service needs for the purpose of developing winning proposals that meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Coordinate with Mitsubishi global headquarters on service pricing, strategy and cost estimates.  Support cost and risk reviews as needed.
  • Review and analyze marketing information on current and new product concepts in order to recommend future product development.
  • Support development and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support LTSP sales and marketing programs.
  • Support establishing and maintaining price lists for parts, field services and parts repair.
  • Support Customer and Users Group events, as needed.
  • Travel regularly overnight (up to 50%) by land and/or air.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

  • Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BS) or Business (BA) from a four-year college or university; and at least six (6) years’ related experience.
      • Language Skills (English required; Spanish preferred): Ability to read and interpret documents such as industry reports and technical journals. Ability to write technical reports and correspondence including customer reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
      • Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
      • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills: advanced personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, drawings, database, etc.
