Role Overview
As an IT Service Desk Analyst I, you will support activities within the service desk, supporting customer needs, documentation creation, configuring user accounts, configuring laptops, desktop support, conference room equipment and inventory management, and first-level support for networking, cloud, applications, and troubleshooting other IT services as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Accurately record, update, and document requests utilizing service desk software.
- Provide excellent direct support for executives upon notification, including after-hours.
- Take ownership of issues by performing analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes; escalate incidents when necessary.
- Utilize a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with effective communication and teamwork.
- Identify and interface with key stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Assist with software and hardware asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
- Install and configure new or reimaged IT equipment and maintain inventory accordingly.
- Assist and orient new hires with IT systems; train team members on IT processes and software.
- Troubleshoot and administer laptops, desktops, applications, printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones, monitors, and other IT equipment.
- Support and lead project work, including task execution, schedule updates, and reporting.
- Create documentation such as SOPs, How-To guides, and process training materials.
- Protect confidential information appropriately.
- Available for after-hours and on-call rotation as scheduled.
- Perform other related duties as directed by IT Leadership.
