Summary

 

The Software Full Stack Engineer develops and designs both the front-end user interface utilizing industry best practices and back-end essential microservices and APIs that support, but ae not limited to content delivery, web APIs, information streaming, and data delivery for both web and mobile platforms.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Mitsubishi personnel to conceive, design, and develop innovative products and services.
  • Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and easy to manage/use.
  • Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
  • Meet project deadlines as indicated in a project plan and assigned tasks.
  • Able to estimate work for defined features.
  • Implement new features on existing products, fix bugs, and improve performance.
  • Commit code with detailed notes working with source control mechanisms.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

 

Other Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Adobe Acrobat, and overall computer navigational skills.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
  • Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
  • Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of any third parties.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, & Education

 

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university or technical institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to troubleshoot to define and identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to take prompt corrective actions.
  • Computer Skills: Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite
      • Programming experience with at least one modern server language
      • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, development, testing, and deployment.
      • Thorough understanding of both client and web applications architectures.
      • Preferred experience with Python – Django framework, JavaScript – Angular framework, Docker, Linux, Git, MySQL, MongoDB, and Azure deployment.
