Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is looking for a Steam Turbine Parts Specialist II.

 

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Support Parts Execution Manager with customer Recommended Spare Parts List reviews and direct all the phases of assigned projects. Support monitoring, tracking and changes to the projects.

 • Review various technical requests and document assembly drawings, sub-assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings and part numbers diligently. High attention to details is a must.

 • Support cost, price and lead time estimation using different methods and tools. Upload and maintain this information in SAP to support budgetary inquiries.

• Assist with obtaining technical information, drawings, and reports from different resources.

 • Support high volume data maintenance to achieve maximum accuracy and consistency of information.

 • Prior Knowledge/experience or willingness to learn Steam Turbine and related auxiliary systems maintenance recommendations and practices.

• Assist Steam Turbine with outage parts planning. Support Customer emails, calls and provide excellent Customer Service.

• Support Training and certification development including identification of process gaps, revision to work instructions, and assist with training of other team members.

• Bring a continuous improvement mindset for including but not limited to process improvement and data visibility development.

• Perform other such duties as may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Education

 

 

    1. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business-related field from accredited college/university or its recognized equivalent in directly related work experience. Minimum 5 years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Communication and Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, engineering drawings, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
    • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, conversions, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, spreadsheet and word processing software, presentation software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, ERP, PDM, etc.
