Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, Fl is looking for a Transactional Service Manager.

 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Coordination of service, parts, repairs and the planning and management of capital parts to support outages at the customer’s plant site.

 

  • Overall management of Field Service Operations in the implementation of Transactional and /or LTMA contracts using either Mitsubishi Power personnel or contract personnel representing Mitsubishi Power.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Quality System for open and closed activities related to Gas and Steam (and Generator) Field Projects.
  • Manage and update outage forecast, resource loading and financial information in CRM or current system of record.
  • Manage, lead, and report out on project performance, including comparison of initial cost and margin projections vs results, to management, as required.
  • Coordinate market strategies with responsible Mitsubishi Power management.
  • Support and/or lead following functions, processes, procedures such as Quoting, Attend Bid/No Bid Meetings, RFP Review and Technical Responses, Project Turnover, Outage Execution, Project Closeout/Lessons Learned and all related contracts specifications.
  • Overnight travel (at least 30%) by land and/or air.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BSME, BSEE) from four-year College or university; or at least ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for PM position.

 

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

 

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra

and geometry.

 

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

  • Computer Skills: Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and basic database.
