Role Overview

The SCR Procurement Execution Manager is responsible for the execution and management of procurement and supplier contracts for major Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) equipment, goods, and services. This role ensures supplier contracts are executed in compliance with customer contract requirements while protecting Mitsubishi Power’s commercial, contractual, and operational interests.

The position partners closely with Commodity Management, Engineering, Commercial Operations, Project Management, and Legal to ensure back-to-back supplier agreements, effective contract administration, and successful delivery through the end of warranty.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates our core competencies: action-oriented, customer-focused, ownership mindset, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Support Commodity Management in negotiating supplier contracts to maximize commercial and contractual benefit to Mitsubishi Power

  • Execute supplier contractual purchase orders from issuance through contract closeout and end of warranty

  • Negotiate and issue change orders and contract modifications in accordance with established approval processes

  • Track and manage supplier contractual milestones, including engineering schedules, manufacturing, delivery, and invoicing

  • Maintain a strong understanding of SCR supplier contracts, including scope of work, terms and conditions, flow-down requirements, and guarantees

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and commercial teams to define procurement requirements, scopes of work, evaluation criteria, pricing schedules, and contract terms

  • Coordinate and support solicitation activities, development of statements of work, schedules, and procurement documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Mitsubishi Power procurement procedures, policies, and contractual guidelines

  • Analyze bids and proposals for compliance, responsiveness, and cost reasonableness

  • Support contract administration activities including invoice review, dispute resolution, claims support, and contract close-out

  • Identify and communicate commercial execution risks or issues impacting current or future supplier contracts

  • Support continuous improvement of procurement and contracting processes


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 5 years of supplier contracts experience in power generation or related industries

  • Demonstrated experience executing and administering contracts for engineered equipment and services

  • Strong understanding of commercial terms, supplier negotiations, and contract flow-down requirements

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, project management, commercial, and legal teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with standard business software tools (email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases)

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
