Role Overview
The Marketing and Communications team is seeking an Internal Communications Manager for our Savannah location—a strategic, data-driven leader with a passion for storytelling, creating employee and customer experiences, and a focus on achieving measurable impact. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of internal communications strategies that amplify our brand, create amazing employee experiences, and drive employee engagement. You will collaborate closely with your marketing communications counterparts, employees of all levels, and customers visiting our factories. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing Communications and Internal Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Partner strategically with business leaders to craft and deliver internal communications that support organizational objectives and drive alignment across teams.
- Champion employee engagement by identifying and executing communication opportunities that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Own and manage a dynamic content calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and relevant messaging across all internal channels.
- Develop and execute multi-format internal campaigns, producing compelling content such as email communications, newsletters, intranet articles, videos, podcasts, and presentations.
- Lead the planning and delivery of internal events and initiatives that strengthen employee connection, celebrate achievements, and reinforce company values.
- Measure and optimize communication effectiveness through data analysis, employee feedback, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to departmental and enterprise-wide goals through proactive collaboration.
- Travel requirement: up to 20%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of corporate marketing or communications experience, including large-scale event planning and employee experience programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and translate executive messaging into clear employee communications.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- People Management experience a plus.
- Experience with graphic design and photography a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with major social media platforms.
